As children are back to school and the weather changes, we are seeing an increase in students with respiratory illnesses, including pneumonia. Please encourage frequent handwashing and covering mouths when coughing and sneezing. If your child is feeling unwell, please keep him/her home until feeling better. As a friendly reminder, students with a fever must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine before returning to school. If your child appears unwell, or has a persistent cough and/or fever, we strongly encourage you to follow up with your child's pediatrician for further evaluation.
